There is a fear in some quarters that it could become very similar
depending on how the international ACTA negotiations, proposed
legislation for "lawful access" (AKA warrantless net.surveillance by
police), and other issues go, I believe.

I remain open to correction, not being a lawyer. I'd also refer

better info and informed opinion.
